Veterinarian training?
Ok I’m Lauren and I’m 13, and I want to get started in training about animals and diagnosis’s, and medication for animals so when I get older I will get most of it, so what i need is a free program online that is free and is available to kids to train on veterinarian care and gives you tests and stuff after you learn most of it.

There really is not a website or a single book that can really prepare you for what you need to learn to become a veterinarian. There is so much to learn even before you would get to vet school that it takes years. If you are curious though you can buy veterinary technician books off the internet and in some bookstores. Some of these may be a bit over your head though. One of the best things you can do now is start familiarizing yourself with the different animals kept as pets. Try to learn as many of the dog and cat breeds that you can, learn about their anatomy and how to care for them. If you are interested in exotic animals, maybe try to learn a few of the more commonly kept species. Remember, before anyone even goes to veterinary school, they have to have already gotten a degree at a four year undergraduate school and must have taken lots of biology classes and other high level ones. So much of the materials you will find about vet medicine, will assume that you already have this background. Don’t get frustrated and just start learning one thing at a time.
