what is the best family calendar?

I want to keep and online calendar for my wife and I to track family commitments (dinners, kids plays, soccer games, etc.) and it should be easy-to-use, support private sharing (so our only family can see it), allow lots of easy text entry.

I personally would be lost without my google calendar. Each family member can have their own calendar but be able to see everybody elses calendar. You are able to invite each member to events, etc. It is great, check it out!
