Trivia games and quizzes are not only popular on TV but are also popular for people at home playing board games. The reason why is that quizzes not only provide entertainment and a challenge but they also help teach people about various subjects. Topics that could be included on a board game could help adults and kids learn about the world, sports, cars, TV shows, world politics, business, finance and lots more.
Trivia and quizzes can also be found on the Internet, there are websites that specialize in trivia for loads of different topics. It’s even possible to create your own quiz using software that can be downloaded free or purchased for a small amount from some sites; you may require a quiz for a party to entertain your friends and family at a special event or pubs may use them for the weekly quiz night.
The latest online craze is websites that allow you test your knowledge by taking a quiz online, the people with the top scores are then rewarded with cash or various prizes ranging from gift vouchers, electronics and of course what everyone loves to win lots of cash! Some sites may have a points system in place so if you correctly answer all the questions correct you will earn a specific number of points which will be added to your account and then prizes can be claimed once you have built up the points. Some of the latest quiz sites will specify a position on the leader board which is then published site for all members to view, if for example you finish at position 32 then you will win the prize for that day or week. Most of these websites are free to join and many have hundreds of thousands of active members. The quiz sites that aren’t free and require a fee to join will usually compensate by offering much higher cash prizes.
Online trivia sites give you a much bigger variety of topics than board games could ever do. On some sites you will find sometimes hundreds of different quizzes in many different categories. These could include food and drink, TV, general knowledge, geography, science, music from many generations, entertainment, TV programmes and more. Famous singers like Britney Spears always seem to have a quiz on every site as do cartoons like The Simpsons.
When you log into these trivia sites you will find that usually its not only quizzes that you can participate in but also games, crosswords, fun stuff for kids and gaming tournaments for adults. There are usually interactive multiplayer games too within a click or two away. Whether they’re on TV, played online or in person trivia and quizzes have been proven to be a great form of entertainment for all.
