How do I find a story about a hunted house, and the guy who died there?
There is a haunted house across the street from me where my mom, aunts, and uncles used to live. I wanna find out some facts about the place like the guys name in story. You think it would be online somewhere, but after hrs of searching , nothing. Any pointers to how to find this guys story. i know he commited suicide by hanging himself in the basement that and his name George.
I know it is really haunted, my Grandparents and all there kids were haunted by it years ago. They have some intresting stories about it and I would like to post it online. but I want facts first. Even my second cousin who lives there now is trying to give the house back to my great uncle because it is terifing her and her family.
Since you know the address of the house, start there. Find out who the previous owners were (you should be able to get that from your town hall) and look for a george. Once you get his last name and if you know when he died (maybe by calling local cemetaries) you can go to the library and search the old newspapers for more information.
For the record, I don’t believe it is haunted but to each his own.
