Small town celebration; what should I wear?
Over the weekend I’m leaving my big city lifestyle to go into a much smaller town. Okay, I’m kidding. I lived in a small town most of my life, just not that small. They celebrate a fictional character {weird, but fun} for the first weekend in August and I’m being pressured into going.
First of all, I’m 5′5″ with dark brown hair. I have a new found obsession with beads [bright colors to black and white] and I love them dearly. My Nova Scotian city {around the biggest} DOESN’T have an Abercrombie, Hollister, Forever 21, Wet Seal or so many other ones and I can’t buy anything online to get it in time.
I’m not sure what days I’m going but we have:
Fri; A parade. Water’s often thrown, white isn’t cute then.
Sat; A family affair and just hanging around
Then Sun; A friend’s hockey game & fireworks
I bought a pair of super cute, even lighter blue jeans from Garage that I’m dieing to wear out, and if my toe isn’t recovered [gross infection from flats] I’ll have to wear Etnies.
ok well.. i’d say jeans and a cute babydoll top for the parade so you’re comfortable and can move easily.
and for saturday maybe a nice sundress and wedges ( if your toe is okay ) so you look put together and appropriate to be with family.
